Meet the founder
Hi! I’m Salma or Sally for intimi, founder of Nomads Chai – specialist in handcrafted chai latte blends. Since 2018, I’ve been creating sticky chai and chai brew concentrate with love and care, made especially for coffee bars, baristas, and chai lovers in the Netherlands.
My journey started with a simple question:
Why is there specialty coffee, but no high-quality chai latte? - After years behind the bar, both at home and abroad, I watched chai rise in popularity. The classic caramel latte slowly made way for the chai tea latte and golden milk chai. But the quality often fell short: powders, syrups, artificial flavors… I knew it could be different.
The first barista chai brew in the Netherlands
In 2018, I started developing a sticky chai latte blend made from pure, natural ingredients. - Not long after, I introduced the very first chai brew in the Netherlands that baristas could truly rely on – fast, efficient, and full of flavor.
What began with small bags of classic masala sticky chai has grown into a complete line of four sticky chai flavors and a powerful chai brew concentrate.
