About Nomadschai

Hi! I'm Salma, the founder of Nomadschai, a specialist in handmade chai latte blends.

Since 2018, I've been making sticky chai and chai brew concentrate with great love and care, especially for coffee bars, baristas, and chai lovers in the Netherlands.

My journey began with a simple question: "Why is there specialty coffee, but no top-quality chai latte?"

After years behind the bar, both at home and abroad, I saw the rise of chai. The classic caramel latte slowly made way for chai tea latte and golden milk chai. But the quality often left much to be desired: powders, syrups, artificial flavors... That could be done differently.

The first barista chai brew in the Netherlands

In 2018, I started developing a sticky chai latte blend based on pure, natural ingredients. Not long after, I was the first in the Netherlands to introduce a barista-quality chai brew that baristas could really use quickly, efficiently, and full of flavor.

What started with small bags of classic masala sticky chai grew into a complete line of four sticky chai flavors and a powerful chai brew concentrate.

Local, handmade and with knowledge of the bar

Our products were made locally and on a small scale in The Hague. Everything is handmade, without compromise. Thanks to my years of experience as a barista, I know what's important: speed, quality, and bar flow.
Since 2023, I've been in a small village where we have a bit more space and excellent storage facilities. If you're ever near Alkmaar, be sure to drop by.
